We’re thrilled to officially announce the launch of Forecasted—a new online group for the event industry dedicated to event safety and meteorology!
This group is open to all event professionals and encourages active participation. As a completely free initiative, our mission is to spark meaningful conversations about event safety, explore weather-related risks, and address the challenges vendors face onsite.
Each session will be an hour-long roundtable hosted on Google Meet. We’ll kick things off with a 15-minute chat featuring our co-host, where they’ll share weather-related challenges they’ve encountered onsite, alongside some meteorology insights and an explanation of the science behind the weather patterns they navigated. After that, the floor will open for everyone to join in—whether to share tips, offer advice, or simply listen and learn.
If you’d like to be a co-host and have a weather-related story to share—good or bad—please let me know!
I can’t wait to explore the science with all of you and hear the invaluable real-life experiences our co-hosts bring to the table.
RSVP now to secure your spot in the conversation—I’m looking forward to seeing you there!
Thank you,
Andrew Leavitt
